I work for the Ministry of Defence in Bristol and got to know David professionally through our work together on a number of joint industry/MOD working groups, since around 2005. David was resolute in defending the position of those he represented, but he always did this with great respect for different viewpoints and unfailing politeness and generosity of spirit. It really was a pleasure to have met and worked with David and my thoughts go out to his family and friends.
This candle was first lit on the 1st of October 2014 and will burn for 90 years 4 months and 12 days.
